Ashok Designers

Ashok Designers is located in the basement of Highway Towers, Shop Number 20. We’re right by the Stadium Circle in Chinchwad, not far from Ambalal Avenue. Being on the Pune Mumbai Road means we see a lot of cars and buses passing by all day long. The basement stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside, which is a relief. It’s a bit of a maze down here with all the different shops, but once you find us, you’ll see we’ve got our workspace set up just the way we like it. We have some drafting tables and a few computers, but things are often a bit messy with sketches and samples lying around. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the area grow quite a bit. It’s a very industrial and busy part of Pune. We don't have a big storefront with lights. Most of our work happens inside where it’s quiet enough to think. We just take the projects as they come. There isn't a big management team; we just talk to each other and figure out the best way to handle each design. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but that’s just how it goes. We don't make a big deal out of it. We're just a small group of people doing our work in a basement shop. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy machinery upstairs starts up, but we just keep working through it. It’s a solid place to get things done.
