You can find us at the Nityanand Housing Society, Rh55, Flat No 12. We are right in the MIDC G Block area of Sambhaji Nagar in Chinchwad, Pune. It is an industrial neighborhood, so there is usually the constant sound of machinery or heavy trucks moving around nearby. Ashirwad Engineering Corporation operates out of this space, which is more of a practical office and workshop than a fancy business suite. We have tools scattered around on the benches and some blueprints pinned up on the walls. The floor is made of concrete and has a few oil stains here and there, but that is expected in this line of work. We do not have a dedicated secretary or a lobby area. If you come by to visit, you will probably find us working on a machine or looking over some technical drawings. We drink a lot of tea to keep ourselves going through the long afternoons. The main desk is usually piled high with invoices, catalogs, and spare parts. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of items delivered at once, but we always manage to find a place for everything eventually. We have been in this part of Pune for a good while, so we know most of the other shop owners on the block. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. We do not spend much on decorating because we are usually too busy.
