Asha Beauty Parlour

Asha Beauty Parlour is located right in Shivaji Nagar, over at Naraveer Tanaji Society, Survey No 42/1B. It is very close to the Shivaji Nagar bus stand, which makes it easy for people to find us even if they are not from this exact neighborhood. I started this place in a small room and it has not changed much over the many years we have been open. We have the usual stuff like chairs for hair cutting, a small corner for facials, and mirrors on almost every wall. It gets a bit cramped when we have more than two customers at a time, but we always make it work somehow. There is always the smell of hairspray and herbal creams lingering in the air. We do not have fancy decorations or expensive lighting like the big salons downtown. It is just a plain room with white walls and some old posters showing different hairstyles. My sister helps me out on the weekends when it gets really busy with weddings or festivals. We talk to our customers about their families and what is happening in the news while we work on their hair. It is a very local atmosphere. Sometimes the kids from the society run past the door and make a lot of noise. We do not mind. It is just a lively part of Shivaji Nagar. We keep our tools clean and our prices fair.
