ASEEM URJA

You can find ASEEM URJA on Vithalwadi Road, specifically in the Girija Sitabaug Colony. It is a pretty quiet residential area for the most part. We started this because we were interested in energy and how to help people manage it better in their homes. Our office isn’t anything special to look at, just a couple of rooms with some desks and some equipment samples sitting on the floor. I spend a lot of my time answering the phone and trying to explain how different power systems work to the neighbors. Sometimes I’m out of the office for half the day visiting a site or looking at a roof for a solar installation. That means the office stays locked for a bit, which I know can be annoying for people who just drop by. I try to leave a note on the door when that happens. We have a small team of three people, and we all do a bit of everything, from the technical stuff to cleaning the windows. The traffic on Vithalwadi Road can get quite backed up in the evenings, so I usually try to finish up early or stay late to avoid the rush. We aren't a big corporation. We are just local people trying to make a living and helping others save a bit on their bills. It's a lot of paperwork and technical drawings, but it’s interesting enough to keep us busy.
