Ascent Placements

We started Ascent Placements a while back in our office at C-8, Dhamodhar Nagar. Being located in Higane Khurd just off Sinhgad Road here in Pune means we deal with a lot of the local crowd every single day. The traffic on Sinhgad Road can be a real headache sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home, but we've gotten used to it over the years. Our space isn't huge, but it works for what we do. Mostly we spend our time looking through resumes and talking to people who are trying to find their next job. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork, really. Some days are busier than others, especially when a few companies send over new roles they need to fill all at once. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big reception desk, just a few desks and some computers where we get the work done. People usually find us by word of mouth or they just see the sign when they're passing through the neighborhood. We’ve seen the area around Dhamodhar Nagar change quite a bit since we first moved in, with more shops and apartments popping up everywhere. It feels good to be part of the local community and help folks find something that pays the bills. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have a lot of walk-ins, but we manage to keep things moving along somehow.
