Kothrud is a busy part of Pune, and being near the PMT depot means there is never a quiet moment. We are over at 11 Bandal Capital, right by the Income Tax office. Arth Cards N Gift Gallery is full of paper, envelopes, and all those small things people want for weddings or festivals. I spend a lot of my time showing people different shades of red or gold for their invites. It gets quite dusty with all the buses moving around the depot outside, so we are always wiping down the counters. The afternoon sun can be quite sharp, but the shop stays relatively cool inside. We have stacks of cards everywhere, and sometimes it feels like I know every design by heart. People from the Income Tax office often pop in when they have a break to find a birthday card or a small gift for a colleague. It’s a simple life, really. We don't have any flashy lights or big signs, just the usual shelves filled with stuff. The walk from the bus stand is short, so we see a lot of foot traffic. Kothrud has its own rhythm, and we have become a part of it over the years. It’s nice to see families come in together to pick out something special. Sometimes it takes them an hour just to choose one card, but that's fine by me. We aren't in any rush here. I usually just reorganize the envelopes while they decide.
