We are located in the H Block of MIDC in Pimpri, specifically at A 24/1. Artech Welders Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a good amount of time. Being in an industrial area like MIDC means it’s always loud with the sound of metal and machines. Our shop floor is the main part of the building. We do a lot of welding work and assembly here. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the sparks and metal dust, but we try to sweep up at the end of the day. We have a small office area near the front where we handle the calls and the orders. Pimpri is a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the neighbors. Most of us here have been working with welders for years. We don't wear suits or anything like that. It’s mostly overalls and safety gear. The building itself is a standard industrial shed. Nothing fancy to look at from the outside. We have a few big machines that take up most of the space. Lunch breaks are usually taken together on the benches outside when the weather is okay. We just focus on getting the welding done right. It’s a simple business. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We just work on the orders we get and try to keep our machines in good shape. Sometimes we stay late when a big job comes in. That's just how it goes here.
