Arka Bricks Private Limited

Arka Bricks Private Limited is based at Ashiyana Old Tophkhana. We are up on the sixth floor, flat 603 to be exact, at S.No 107/1. It’s a bit unusual having a brick company office in an apartment building, but that’s where the planning happens. The actual bricks are usually at the sites or in storage elsewhere. Being in Old Tophkhana means we’re right in the thick of the city. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or running back and forth to different locations. Dealing with bricks means you’re always thinking about weight and transport. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't have a massive staff, just a few people who know how the industry works. We deal with a lot of different contractors. Some days are slow and we just sit around the office catching up on bills. Other days, it’s completely chaotic with everyone calling at once. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. We just do our bit to make sure bricks get to where they need to go. It’s a lot of practical problem-solving. If a truck breaks down, we have to figure it out. If the weather is bad, we adjust. It’s just how we earn a living and keep the business running in this part of town. Sometimes things are a bit messy, but we manage.
