We are based in Shukrawar Peth, specifically at Shop No 5 in Arihant Plaza. The building is at number 808. It’s a busy part of town, and the plaza stays pretty active throughout the day. I’ve been working in this shop for a long time. My day usually starts with opening up the shutters and getting the workbench ready. I handle all sorts of watches. Some are brand new and just need a link removed, while others are very old and need a lot of care. Shukrawar Peth has a lot of tradition, and I like being part of that. I don't use a lot of high-tech gear. Mostly, it’s just the same tools I’ve used for years. It's a small shop, so things can get a bit cramped when a few customers come in at once. I don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. Word usually spreads from person to person. If someone’s watch stops, their neighbor might tell them to come see me. I try to be fair and just tell people what’s wrong without making it sound complicated. It's just me and the clocks. If you're in the plaza, stop by and say hello. I'm usually there at the back of the shop. I don't really use computers much, just my logbook for keeping track of repairs. It's a straightforward way to run a small business in this city. It takes time, but that is fine with me.
