Apple Unisex Salon

Aundh is a busy part of town, and Royal Sands is where you will find us at Apple Unisex Salon. It is a straightforward setup with the usual mirrors, chairs, and the smell of shampoo and hairspray in the air. We don't go in for anything too dramatic. People from around the neighborhood come in when they need a trim or if they have a wedding to go to and want to look a bit sharper. The chairs are usually full on the weekends, and there is always a bit of talk going on over the sound of the clippers. We have got our regular customers who have been coming here since we first opened up in Royal Sands. It is nice seeing the same faces and knowing how they like their hair done without them having to say much. The floor stays covered in hair for most of the afternoon until we get a chance to sweep it up between clients. We keep the towels clean and the scissors sharp, and that is about it. It is not a high-pressure environment; we just want people to feel comfortable while they sit in the chair. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly it is just steady work from morning until the lights go out. Aundh has changed a lot over the years, but our little spot in the building stays pretty much the same, just doing what we do every day for the locals.
