A.O.E.S Overseas Service

A.O.E.S Overseas Service is based in the Sneha Chaya Building. It’s part of the Ganeshpuri Society in the Warje-Malwadi area of Pune. This part of the city is a bit further out, so it’s a bit quieter than the center. Our office is on one of the lower floors. It’s a simple space where we handle all the documents for people wanting to move or work overseas. We have a lot of folders and stacks of forms. There are some plastic chairs for people to sit in while they wait for us to check their papers. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a couple of desk lamps to see what we are doing. We don't have a receptionist, so we just call out to people when we are ready. Most of the time we are just typing or filing things away. We have a small window that looks out onto the society garden, which is nice when we take a break. We usually bring our own tiffins for lunch and eat together. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, not like those big corporate offices in the tech parks. We have been here for a while and we know most of our neighbors. The building is a bit old, and the stairs can be dusty, but it’s our workplace. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just help people with their paperwork every day and try to stay organized.
