Down in Bhosari, at the Rakar Ind. Estate, is where you will find our workshop. S.No. 15/7 is not too difficult to find once you have made your way into the Anandnagar, Midc area. It is mostly just a world of metal, oil, and the constant hum of machines running in the background. We have been doing engineering work here for a long time now. The concrete floor is usually covered in little bits of scrap metal and shavings by the time we finish up for the day. It is a proper industrial area, so it stays loud and busy from sunrise to sunset. We are definitely not a big corporation with people in suits; we just wear our regular work clothes and often end the day with grease under our fingernails. Most of the guys working here have been part of the team since we first opened the doors. We do a lot of custom jobs that come in from people walking off the street. Sometimes a customer’s drawing is just a rough sketch on a scrap of paper, and we have to spend time making sense of it before we can start. The machines we use are older models, but they still run perfectly fine if you take care of them and treat them right. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to take your name. If the front door is open, you can just walk right in and find someone to talk to. Usually, I am in the back part of the shop checking on a lathe or a drill press. It gets incredibly hot in the summer months under the tin roof, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving. We just focus on doing the work and getting it sent out to the customers. Most people in Bhosari know who we are by now. We do not bother with advertising because the work usually speaks for itself.
