Annual

We’re located over in Sant Tukdoji Nagar, operating out of the C/O Nanekar space. We’re quite close to Kalewadi Phata, so there’s always a lot going on right outside our doors. The name of the place is Annual, which sounds a bit official, but we’re actually a pretty down-to-earth group. We spend most of our time helping folks with the kind of tasks that come up every year—things that need to be filed, organized, or planned out. It’s the sort of work that requires a lot of sitting at a desk and making sure all the numbers add up. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to get through the pile of work on our desks so we can go home. The office is a bit cramped with all the files we keep, but we know where everything is. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. People drop by now and then to ask questions or hand over some documents. It’s a steady pace, and we’ve lived and worked in this part of Pune for a long time. We know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic and where to get the best snacks during our break. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to be useful and keep things moving along without causing any unnecessary trouble for anyone. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life.
