Anjali Fashion House

My little place, Anjali Fashion House, is tucked away between Nehru Nagar and Sudhama Nagar. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights and mannequins in the window. Instead, it’s a small shop where I keep rolls of fabric and a couple of sewing machines. I’ve been here for several years now, and most of my customers are just people from the neighborhood who walk over. The shop can get quite crowded with all the clothes and scraps of thread on the floor. I try to keep it organized, but when I’m busy, things tend to pile up. I spend most of my day measuring, cutting, and talking to people about what they want. It’s a lot of work and my eyes get tired by the end of the day, but I’ve always liked working with my hands. The street outside is usually full of kids playing or people going to the market. It’s a friendly area. I don't really do any advertising or have a big sign. People just know where I am. I’m not trying to be a world-famous designer; I just want to make clothes that fit well and make people happy. Sometimes the machine breaks down and I have to fix it myself, which is always a bit of a headache. But that’s just how it goes when you’re running your own small shop. You just have to deal with whatever comes up today and hope for the best tomorrow.
