Anjali Agro Plast

Our workshop is at Rh-155, Niramay, in the Midc 'G' Block over in Shahunagar, Chinchwad. It’s a pretty standard industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving around and a lot of dust in the air. We focus on plastic products that farmers use, like pipes for irrigation and heavy sheets for covering crops. The building we are in, Niramay, is shared with some other businesses too. It can get really hot inside during the summer afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the work. We’ve been in this same spot for quite a few years now. We know most of the other guys working in the 'G' Block. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving rolls of plastic and loading up the delivery vans. My cousin handles the books and the phone calls while I stay on the floor to make sure the machines are running right. Sometimes we run out of a certain grade of plastic and have to wait for a delivery, which slows things down. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we do our job. We try to be fair with people and give them what they need for their farms. It’s a steady living and we’ve become a part of the local industrial community here in Chinchwad.
