Anita Anand Parasnis

I am Anita Anand Parasnis. I run things from my space at 43 50 in the Mumba Devi Compound over in Karve Nagar. It is a local spot that many people in the community know about. I’ve been here for quite some time now, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. The compound is usually busy with people coming and going. My place isn't anything special to look at, just a functional room where I handle my daily business. I like it here because it feels like home. I know most of the neighbors and we all look out for each other. I started doing this because I wanted to stay active and have something of my own. My days are mostly spent sitting at the desk, sorting through things and making sure everything is in order. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. I don’t use any big words or have a complicated way of doing things. I just take things as they come. Karve Nagar is a good place to be based. Sometimes the rains make it a bit difficult to get around the compound, but we manage just fine. It’s a simple life and I enjoy the routine of coming here every morning to start the day’s work at number 43 50. There is no corporate polish here, just me doing what I need to do to keep things moving.
