If you’re looking for us, we’re located over in Dhankavadi at Sambhaji Nagar. Our office is Flat No 282 on the 4th floor of the M Building in the Jain Society. It’s right near K K Market, which is a good landmark if you’re coming from Satara Road. Anil Shall Architech & Interior Designer started out pretty small and we’ve mostly stayed that way over the years. The office is basically a second home to us. There are blueprints and fabric samples everywhere you look. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of time drawing and arguing over where a wall should go or what color looks best in the natural light. Being in Padmavati Nagar, we’re close to a lot of our project sites, which makes things much easier for us. The walk up to the 4th floor is exercise since the lift is slow sometimes. We don't really have a sales pitch or a glossy brochure. We just show people what we’ve done and talk about what they actually need for their homes or shops. It’s a lot of late nights and messy desks, but we enjoy the whole process of building and designing things. We’re just local people who like to create stuff that works for everyday life. It’s a bit of a climb to get to us, but the view of the neighborhood is nice from up here.
