Andar Maval Farmer Producer Companylimited is our group. We are based at house number 1 in Vadeshwar, which is in the Maval area near Pune and Talegaon. It’s a nice part of the country, and we are right there on the ground. We are farmers who work together to try and get better results for everyone in the group. Being near Pune helps, but we are still very much a local, village-based operation. Our office is just a simple room in the village where we keep our papers and have our meetings. We don’t use a lot of fancy business language because that’s not who we are. We are people who know the land and the crops. Most of our day is spent out and about, not sitting behind a desk. We handle the collection and sale of whatever we are growing at the time. It can be stressful when the markets aren't doing well, but having each other makes it a bit easier to manage. We aren't a corporate giant, just a group of neighbors at house 1 in Vadeshwar. The hills around here are nice, but the ground is what we focus on. We're just trying to make the most of what we've got. It’s a slow process building a company from the ground up, but we’re sticking with it. If you come by, don’t expect a polished reception area. Expect some tea.
