Anayra Farms Producer Company Limited is a bit different because we are based in Borivali West. Our address is at Devidas Lane, in Tower B, room 1502-1448/B/A. It’s a busy part of the city, off Village Eksar. Even though we are in a building, our heart is in the farming. We use this space to manage the business and talk to people who might want what the farms produce. It is a lot of phone calls and emails. Living and working in Borivali means everything is fast, but we try to keep things grounded. We deal with the logistics of moving things from the fields to the people who need them. It gets crowded in the office sometimes with all the files. We started this because we wanted a direct link between the land and the city. It is not always smooth. Traffic in Mumbai is a headache, and sometimes shipments are late. We just deal with it one day at a time. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know about farming and how to run an office. It is a practical way to handle the trade side of things while the actual farming happens elsewhere. We stay busy with the paperwork and making sure the farmers get their fair share. It is a lot of work but it feels right to be doing it this way.
