Amruta Madams Commerce Classes

We are up on the second floor of Bhosale House. It is right there near the Nal Stop on Main Karve Road in Erandwane. If you know where Kalyan Jewelers is, we are very close to that. The classes have been running for some time now. Amruta Madam is usually around, making sure the students are actually studying and not just wasting time on their phones. The rooms aren't huge, but there are enough benches for everyone. It gets quite noisy outside because Karve Road is always packed with traffic, but once the fans are on and the teaching starts, you sort of tune it out. We have students coming in at all sorts of hours. Some come early before their other college work, and others are here late in the evening. There is a lot of paper everywhere, mostly old exam notes and attendance sheets that we keep in stacks. It’s not a fancy corporate office. It feels more like a place where work actually happens. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long sessions. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so most of us just take the stairs to the second floor. It’s better for health anyway. We just focus on the syllabus and getting through the chapters. People find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. That is how it usually goes here in Pune.
