If you are looking for us, we are at 729 Raviwar Peth, right near the Tamboli Masjid in Lonar Ali. The streets here are narrow and always packed with people shopping for various things. We have a mix of items in the shop because people around here often need a gift in a hurry. So besides the watches, we keep some gift articles on the side. It might be a decorative piece for a house or a nice box for a present. During festival times, it gets very crowded in this lane. We can hear the call to prayer from the masjid while we work, which gives the day a nice rhythm. The shop is quite old and the wooden counters have seen better days. I spend a lot of time wrapping gifts and adjusting watch bands for customers. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things high on the shelves. Sometimes a customer comes in for a watch battery and leaves with a gift for their mother. We don't do any big promotions. People just know we are here. Raviwar Peth is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that daily life. We focus on the daily tasks, fixing what is broken and helping people find something nice to give to their families. It’s a simple life in a busy market, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
