Down here in Bhusari Colony, we’ve got Ambience Beauty Parlour Hair Studio. It’s a busy little spot, especially on weekends when everyone seems to want a haircut at the same time. We have a few chairs and mirrors that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so someone is always grabbing a broom to clear a path between clients. We spend a lot of time on our feet, talking to the regulars while we work on their hair or get a thread ready. It’s usually got that smell of hairspray and shampoo hanging in the air. We keep a stack of old magazines on the table for people waiting their turn. It’s not a quiet place; there’s usually a dryer going or someone laughing about something that happened down the street. We’ve known some of these families for years, seeing kids grow up and start coming in for their own haircuts. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when we turn too many things on at once, but we’ve learned to work around it. It's just a local shop where you come in, sit down, and leave looking a bit tidier than when you walked in. We don't do anything too crazy, just standard cuts and styling that people ask for when they drop by. It gets tiring standing all day, but seeing the same faces makes the time go by much faster for us.
