Amazon Wood

Amazon Wood is tucked away in Sanaswadi at C/8. If you have been out this way, you know it is an area where a lot of industrial things happen, so it can be a bit dusty on the dry days. Our place is basically where we keep the wood and handle the daily orders. It is not one of those polished showrooms you see in the city center. Instead, it is a working space with piles of timber and the sound of things being moved around. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure we know what is available for whoever comes by. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit difficult, like when it rains and we have to make sure everything stays dry under the sheds. The yard has its own logic, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone just walking in for the first time. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job, whether it is measuring planks or helping load a customer's vehicle. It is a straightforward kind of business. We do not have much time for sitting around because there is always a delivery to organize or a tally to finish up. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they are already working on something in the Sanaswadi area. It is a busy spot, but we like the pace of it and just keep moving through the pile of work each day to keep the yard running smoothly.
