Amazon Wood

Amazon Wood is based out in Sanaswadi, specifically at C/8. It is more of an industrial setting than anything else. There is a lot of wood around, as you might guess from the name. The air usually smells like sawdust and old timber. We don't have a big reception area or fancy rugs. It is mostly just the yard and the office where we keep the records. Sanaswadi is a busy area with a lot of trucks coming in and out at all hours. We get used to the noise of the machinery and the shouting of the workers. It is an honest way to spend a day. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the pieces are what they should be. It is physical work and it can be a bit messy. Our clothes usually have a bit of dirt on them by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the wood is handled right and the orders go where they need to go. If you come by C/8, you will see us in the middle of it all, probably moving something or writing down numbers on a clipboard. It is just the way it is here at Sanaswadi. We stay focused on the wood and the day-to-day tasks that keep the place going without making a big fuss about it.
