Amar H Jadhav

In Nana Peth, things are always a bit crowded and loud, but that is just how it is on the 1st Main Road. We are set up over here in Vidyaranagar. My name is Amar H Jadhav and this is where I do my work. It is not a big company with hundreds of employees, it is mostly just me and occasionally someone helping out with the chores. People in the neighborhood know the building, and we have been part of the local scenery for a good stretch of time. The office is small, filled with books and various papers that seem to pile up no matter how much I try to clean them. I usually start the day early with a cup of tea from the stall around the corner. The 1st Main Road can be a bit of a nightmare for parking, so most people just walk over if they live nearby in Vidyaranagar. It is an old part of town, which I really like. There is a certain rhythm to the day here that you don't get in the newer parts of Pune. I don't spend much on fancy furniture or decor because it doesn't really help get the job done at the end of the day. Most of the people who come by are regulars or friends of friends who know the way. We just talk, handle whatever business is on the agenda, and then go about our lives. It is a very local way of doing things, nothing like those big offices in the IT parks.
