You can find Smile Exim Pvt. Ltd. over at D-110 in the World of Mother building, which is part of Jai Ganesh Vision in Akurdi. It’s a pretty well-known spot in the area. We have been here doing the import and export thing for a good bit. It’s not a very glamorous job, mostly just coordinating with different transporters and checking manifests. The office is usually full of the sound of printers going off. Akurdi is a busy place, and being in Jai Ganesh Vision means there’s always something happening around us. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the work done. A lot of our day is spent making sure stuff arrives when it should. When things get stuck at the port, we have to spend hours sorting it out. That's just part of the routine. We’ve got a few rooms here filled with files and samples of things we move. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes but we know where everything is. People stop by sometimes to ask for directions or just to say hello. We aren't a huge corporation, just a private limited company trying to make a go of it. We keep our heads down and focus on the logistics. It's a steady life here in Akurdi, and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the building. We’ve been at D-110 long enough that it feels like a second home.
