Akshaya Industries

The area around Bhosari is always humming with the sound of work being done and Akshaya Industries is right in the middle of it on Rajmahal Road. Our address at 116/1 is easy to spot once you get onto the main stretch of the road. We spend our days surrounded by machines and the smell of metal and oil which is pretty standard for this part of town. It can get quite loud inside when everything is running at once so we mostly communicate with hand signals or shouting over the noise. We have a small office space but most of the time is spent out on the floor making sure everything is moving along as it should. The Rajmahal Road area is dusty and the trucks are always kicking up dirt as they pass by our gates. We have a few workers who have been with us for years and they know the machines better than anyone else does. It is not the cleanest job in the world and our clothes usually have a few stains by the end of the shift but we don't mind much. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and try to get the heavy lifting done early. There is always something that needs fixing or a new batch of parts that needs to be moved out to the loading area. It is just regular daily work for a shop like ours in Bhosari.
