Ak Placement Services is located right in the heart of Narayan Peth. If you know Pune, you know how busy this area gets. We are over at number 60, and Sonali Subodh Chavan is usually the one managing things on the ground. It’s a busy part of the city, with lots of traffic and noise, but inside the office, we try to keep things moving along. We deal with people looking for work and companies looking for help. It’s a lot of phone calls and meeting new faces. The space isn’t huge. We have a few desks and a place for people to sit while they wait. We don't use fancy software for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen still do the job better. The walls are a bit plain, but we’re more interested in matching people with the right roles than in interior design. Narayan Peth has a certain energy to it that we’ve grown to like. Lunch breaks usually mean heading out to one of the local spots nearby. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us. It’s a very hands-on type of job. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that.
