Ak Consultants is located right here in Pune, Maharashtra. Our area code is 411004, so we are in a fairly central part of the city. We’ve been working as consultants for some time now, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the local business scene. Our setup is pretty simple. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or a fancy office suite. It’s mostly just us, our computers, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the day. We spend most of our time talking to people about their business problems or helping them figure out how to get things moving. Pune is a hub for a lot of activity, so there is never a dull moment. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the notes we take during meetings, but we know where everything is. We don't go for complicated jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just listen to what people need and see if we can offer some practical advice. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. Some days are slow and we just catch up on reading, while other days the phone won't stop ringing. We just take it as it comes. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on the people who actually reach out to us here in Maharashtra. We usually just work through the tasks until they are finished.
