Agrodesh Farmers Producer Company

Out here in Village Shivani Taka, we’ve put together Agrodesh Farmers Producer Company. It's mostly run from Abhiman Vishnu Deshmukh's place. Things move a bit slower in the village compared to the big cities, which suits us just fine. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to team up so we could handle our produce better. Dealing with crops and markets is tough when you’re on your own, so we registered this company to make it official. Our office isn't much more than a desk and some chairs in a shared space, but it’s where all the decisions happen. We spend a lot of time out in the fields and then meet up here to talk about what needs doing next. There isn't any corporate structure or fancy titles around here. We just know each other from the village and work together on the farming side of things. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get much done, but that’s just life in Shivani Taka. We’re just trying to make a living and keep the farm work going as best as we can. It’s hard work and the days are long, but being part of a producer company helps share the load. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be useful for the local growers around here. We don't really have a set closing time because someone is always working on something.
