Agro Acres Women Farmers Producer Company Limited is based over in Pimpri Chinchwad, specifically at Runal Gatewayph-1. Our office is in F.No.C/801, S.No.105/1. It’s a bit different because we are a group of women farmers who decided it was finally time we had our own setup. Most of us have been working on farms our whole lives, but we usually didn't have much say in the actual business side of things. This company changed that for us. We deal with everything from getting the right seeds to finding markets in the Haveli and Pune areas. It’s a lot of coordination to get it all right. We meet up in the office or sometimes out where the actual planting is happening, depending on the day. It’s not always smooth sailing. Balancing home life and the farm work is a lot of weight to carry, but we make it work because we have to. We don't have a big marketing department writing this for us. It’s just us telling you where we are and what we're doing. We want to make sure that the women who grow the food also get a fair share of the money when it’s sold. We talk about practical things like transport costs and storage. It’s a real business run by real people who know what it’s like to be out in the sun all day. We’re just trying to build something solid for ourselves.
