Agharakar Research Institute

You can find us at Plot No 14 in the Girija Shankar Society over in Pune. We are a research institute, so a lot of what happens here involves a lot of reading, studying, and looking at data. It is a fairly quiet spot which helps when you need to focus on work. We have been in this society for quite a few years now. The building isn't anything too flashy, just a solid place where we do our research. We have different people coming in and out depending on what projects are going on. Sometimes the labs get a bit messy with all the equipment and papers lying around. That is just how research goes, I suppose. We don't really have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just do the work we are supposed to do. Pune is a good place for this kind of thing because there are many other people doing similar work nearby. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the scientific side of things. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes things don't go as planned, but we just keep at it. The staff here is used to the routine. We have our small library and the work areas set up just how we like them. It is a practical environment for anyone who likes to dig deep into a subject. We are just here doing our bit for the field and keeping the data moving along.
