Adarsh Dry Fruits

Adarsh Dry Fruits is located at No. 16 on the Upper Ground Floor of Madura Plaza. We are right opposite the Laxmi Mandir in Dajiban Peth. Being on the upper ground floor means people have to walk up a few steps to get to us. The shop isn't massive, but we pack a lot into it. There are bags and containers of nuts and dried fruits everywhere you look. The smell is quite nice, actually, very earthy and sweet. Dajiban Peth is a very crowded part of town, especially being near the mandir. There are always people moving around and plenty of noise. We spend our days weighing out portions and packing them up. Sometimes the plaza gets a bit hot in the summer, and we just use a small fan to keep cool. We don't have any fancy lighting or expensive displays. We just put the product out so people can see what they are getting. It’s a family-style environment here. We talk to the customers about their day while we work. It’s not a high-tech operation. We use an old scale and keep our records in a ledger. It works for us and has for years. We just try to be honest and do our work steadily. We often have some tea and snacks in the back when it gets quiet for a few minutes. Most of the people who come here are regulars who have been buying from us for a long time. It feels like home in a way.
