Ad Astra Consultants is based in Somwar Peth, right here in Pune. If you know this area, you know it’s one of the older parts of the city. It has a lot of character, but the streets are quite narrow and can get really crowded. We are in an old building that has seen a lot of history. There’s no big shiny sign for us. We just have a small nameplate near the entrance. The office is a bit cramped because we’ve accumulated so many books and folders over the years. We didn't want a modern office in a tech park because we like the feel of Somwar Peth. You can walk out and find good street food just a few steps away. Inside, the floors are a bit uneven and the windows rattle when a heavy truck goes by. We don't mind it much. It’s a real place with real people. We spend most of our day on the phone or meeting with people who come by to talk about their careers. It’s not a polished environment. We have old wooden desks and chairs that might squeak a bit. We don't have a HR department or a marketing team. It’s just us doing the consulting work. We value the relationships we’ve built in this neighborhood. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We show up, do what needs to be done.
