You can find us at Shukrawar Peth, specifically at the building marked 406 990. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and always full of people and scooters. Working at Acme Tele Power Limited means we are right in the thick of it every single day. The building we are in has been around for ages and has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We deal with power equipment for telecommunications, so there’s always a lot of heavy metal parts and cables lying around the floor. It’s not the most modern office you’ll ever see, but it works for our needs. The noise from the street comes right through the windows, but you get used to it after working here for a week or two. We spend our days coordinating with technicians and making sure the gear gets where it needs to go on time. Shukrawar Peth has a certain vibe to it that you don’t get in the newer business districts. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s where we’ve set up shop and we like it. We usually grab lunch from the small food stalls nearby because there is no big cafeteria here. It’s just us, the equipment, and a lot of phone calls to make. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we just have to wait it out like everyone else.
