Our place is known as Gauge House, sitting right at number 67 in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate. It’s a busy part of Pune, and there’s always something going on nearby. We handle both sales and servicing here, so the workspace is divided between desks and a service area with plenty of tools. You’ll often see people coming in with equipment that needs a bit of attention or looking for specific parts. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a functional space. We have a lot of shelves filled with different gauges and instruments. It’s important to keep them in the right conditions, so we try to keep the dust down as much as we can. The air smells a bit like cleaning solvent and electronics sometimes. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about their technical needs. It’s more about problem-solving than just selling something off a shelf. Sometimes the phone rings all day, and other times it’s quiet enough to catch up on the paperwork. The estate has changed a lot over the years, with newer companies moving in, but we’ve stayed put at Gauge House. We don't use much fancy language here. We just tell people what we can do and how long it will take. It’s a simple way of doing business, and it seems to work for us and the people who come to see us for help.
