Absolute Hr

Absolute Hr is tucked away in the Bibewadi area of Pune. If you know the neighborhood, it’s mostly residential but we’ve got our little setup here. We spend our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for work. It’s a lot of matching things up. Sometimes the phones don’t stop ringing, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually hear the tea stall outside. We aren’t some big corporate machine with thousands of employees. It’s just a few of us here. We handle the basic HR tasks that companies don't want to do themselves. A lot of our day involves checking references or making sure compliance papers are filed correctly for the local authorities. Pune is a big city for jobs, so there’s always something happening in the market. We see a lot of people coming through these doors, all looking for something better. We try to be helpful when we can, but we’re also just trying to keep our own records straight. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We get our lunch from the local spots nearby and usually chat about what's going on in the city. It’s a steady pace most weeks. We don’t make big promises, we just look through the files and see who fits where. That’s about it for us here in Bibewadi. We hope the traffic stays light for the commute home.
