Aarjiju Beauty Parlour

Aarjiju Beauty Parlour is located right on the Main Road in Nana Peth. Being in Pune 411002 means we are in a very old and crowded part of the city. There is always something happening outside our door. The shop itself is a small space we’ve set up for basic beauty work. We do a lot of facials, hair coloring, and bridal stuff when the season is right. It’s a very local feel here. Most of our clients are women from the surrounding blocks who have been coming to us for years. We know their families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. The interior is simple with a few chairs and some shelves for our creams and lotions. We try to keep it tidy, but with people coming and going, there is always a bit of a mess. The afternoon sun hits the front window, so we usually keep the curtains half-drawn to stay cool. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working through the list of customers. Sometimes we have to stay open late if a regular client has an emergency or a function to attend. It's a busy life, but it’s what we know. We don’t bother with fancy signs or big advertisements. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the shop while walking down the Main Road. It’s just a honest, small-scale business.
