A1 Hair Cutting Salon

If you walk down Mahatma Phule Peth, you will see A1 Hair Cutting Salon. It’s been in this part of Pune for quite some time. The area is always crowded with traffic and people going about their day, and we are just another part of that street. It’s a basic shop. We have the usual mirrors and the adjustable chairs that have seen a lot of use. People come here because they know what to expect. No fancy coffee or loud music, just the sound of scissors and the spray bottle. We handle all kinds of hair, mostly just short cuts and the occasional shave. Some of the regulars have been coming here since they were kids, and now they bring their own children. It’s nice to see the families grow up. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always sweeping. Sometimes we run out of change, so we have to ask the shop next door for some coins. It’s a friendly vibe though. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. If you need a quick trim or your beard lined up, we are right here in the Peth. The lights flicker sometimes when it rains, but we keep working through it. It is just a local spot for a decent haircut without any of the extra drama you find in big malls. We keep things moving and focus on the person sitting in the chair.
