A V Potnis Associates

Setting up at Deccan Gymkhana was a good move for A V Potnis Associates. It’s a lively part of the city, and being at 819 A 4 means we see a lot of the daily rush outside. I usually get in early before the traffic really picks up and the noise starts. The office feels lived-in, with papers stacked where they shouldn’t be and the smell of old files in the corners. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing here. It’s more about sitting down with people and hearing what they need without any rush. Sometimes we spend the whole morning just catching up on paperwork that’s been sitting on the corner of the desk for a week. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, especially in the summer, but it’s worth it. We know the neighbors, and we know exactly where to get the best snacks around the corner when the afternoon slump hits. It’s a small team, so if one of us is out sick, things get a bit chaotic. But that’s just how it goes in a small office. We’ve been through a lot of seasons here. Rainy days in Pune are something else, especially when the roof drips a little. We just move the folders and keep working. It isn't a high-tech setup, just some computers and a lot of patience. People come to us because we’ve been here and they know exactly where to find us.
