A. V. Clothing

We are tucked away in Shop No. 18/19 on the ground floor of Yadav Vyapar Bhavan. It’s on Shivaji Road No. 602 in Shukrawar Peth. The building is usually buzzing with people. Our shop, A. V. Clothing, isn't very large, but we make the most of the space. We have racks and shelves filled with different types of clothes. It can get a bit over-whelming when we get a lot of customers at once. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more of a practical place where people come to see what we have in stock. The lighting could be better, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time folding and re-stacking things after customers look through them. Shukrawar Peth is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s just me and a helper most days. We try to keep things simple. There’s no big marketing strategy here, just showing people the clothes we have. Sometimes we have tea with the shop owners next door when it’s slow. It’s a decent place to work, even if it gets a bit hot in the afternoons. We just focus on keeping the stock updated and making sure we can find what people are looking for in the piles. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the Bhavan, just a reliable one for whoever stops by.
