A 1 Novelties

Setting up A 1 Novelties over at 735/36 Manav Apartments was a big move for us. Being in Transport Nagar means there’s always a lot of heavy vehicles passing through, and Narol Cross Road is almost never quiet. You can hear the engines rumbling from the Bhawani side all day long. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of the walls to display what we have. It gets a bit cramped when three or four people come in at once, but we make it work. Most of the day is spent unpacking boxes and trying to figure out where to put things so they don't fall over. The floor in Manav Apartments is a bit uneven in the corner, so we had to put some cardboard under the shelf to keep it steady. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place where you can find small items without having to go all the way into the main city market. The heat in the afternoon can be tough since the sun hits the front window directly, but the fan keeps things moving. We’ve known the other shopkeepers around here for years, and we often share tea while waiting for the next customer. It’s a basic life, but it suits us well enough. We stay open until the street lights come on and the traffic finally starts to thin out. It takes a while to lock everything up properly before heading home.
