Kapoor Marbles

We are set up at Plot No. 5 along the 100 Feet Road in Mudaliarpet. It is a pretty easy place to find because the road is so wide and busy. We deal with all sorts of marble slabs here. Most days involve us moving stock around with the crane or talking to guys who are doing flooring work nearby. The 100 Feet Road gets a lot of traffic, which is good for us. We see a lot of different people coming through. We aren't a corporate office or anything, just a stone yard where we keep the materials ready for whoever needs them. When a truck arrives, everything stops so we can unload safely. It's a lot of manual labor. We try to keep a decent variety of colors and patterns, but it depends on what we can get our hands on at the time. Some people want the white stuff, others like the darker tones. We just tell them what we think will work for their specific project. Being in Mudaliarpet for this long, we know most of the local builders. It’s a practical business. We don’t use fancy words to describe the stone. It’s just rock, and it’s heavy, and it looks nice when it’s polished up. We stay open pretty late most days to make sure we finish the cutting work. If you're driving down the main road, you'll see our stacks of stone out front. It’s been our home for years now.
