Shagun Beauty Parlour

We are located at 258 A/2 in New Sohbatiya Bagh, right here in the Allahpur area of Allahabad. If you know where the Rauja Mazar is, you have probably passed our shop many times already. Shagun Beauty Parlour was started quite a few years ago because there wasn't a reliable spot nearby for women to get their hair and threading done. The shop itself is not very big, but there is enough room for a few chairs and a small waiting area. It gets quite crowded on the weekends, especially when there is a wedding in the neighborhood. A fancy website or a big management team isn't something we have. It is just a few of us working here from morning until the evening. A lot of time is spent talking with the ladies from the surrounding houses while the work gets done. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break. Keeping the place tidy is a constant job with hair and powder everywhere. People come to us because the location is convenient and they know what to expect. Basic things like facials, waxing, and bridal makeup are what we handle most. It’s a simple business and that suits us fine. The streets have changed over the years, but our little corner near the mazar stays pretty much the same. It is just a local place for local people.
