Oxy Rich Salon

Civil Lines has changed a lot over the years, but the area around Hot Stuff crossing still feels like the center of everything in Allahabad. Our salon, Oxy Rich Salon, is at 46 Sardar Patel Marg, just a short walk from that famous crossing. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of history, and you see all kinds of people walking by, from students to old-timers who have lived here forever. We’ve been here for a good while, and the salon has become a regular stop for many. The street outside is usually full of noise, but once you step inside, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have our regulars who come in every few weeks for their usual hair cut or shave. We don't use any of that complicated talk you hear in big city shops; we just do what the customer asks for. The weather in Allahabad can be tough, especially the dust in the dry months, so we are always cleaning the glass and wiping down the counters. It’s a lot of routine work, like checking the supplies and making sure the water is running. We see a lot of young guys from the colleges nearby who want the latest styles, and then there are the older gentlemen who just want things kept simple. It’s a good mix and keeps us busy from morning till night, even when the traffic outside gets a bit too much.
