Mamta Ladies Beauty Parlour & Training Centre

We are located at 149/92 in Bai Ka Bag, right across from the Baroda Gramin Bank here in Allahabad. Mamta Ladies Beauty Parlour & Training Centre has been a part of this neighborhood for a while. It’s a two-part thing we do here. One side is the beauty parlour where we help local women with things like eyebrows, hair cutting, and simple skin treatments. The other side is the training centre. I started the training part because a lot of girls in this area wanted to learn a skill they could use to earn some money. We teach them the basics of beauty work in a very hands-on way. It’s not like a big fancy school; it’s more like learning from a neighbor. The shop is always a bit busy with people coming in for services or students practicing their techniques. Bai Ka Bagh is a lively area, and being opposite the bank means there’s always someone passing by. We keep the atmosphere relaxed. We aren't interested in being the most expensive place in town. We just want to provide a good service and help some young women learn a trade. The furniture is practical, and the walls have some posters of different styles. We use everyday products that people are familiar with. It's a community space where women feel comfortable to sit and talk while they get their work done or while they are learning.
