Sanskaar Kids Kingdom

Ashok Nagar is a nice part of Allahabad, and Hastings Road has its own rhythm. Number 17 B is where we spend our days. It is mostly full of small children, so you can imagine the noise level is pretty high from morning until afternoon. There are plastic blocks scattered in the corners and drawings taped to the walls that aren't always straight. We don't have a corporate office or a polished reception desk. Instead, you'll find a few chairs and maybe a stray shoe left behind by a toddler. The gates open early, and the street gets crowded with parents dropping off their little ones before they head to work. It is a lot of hand-holding and sometimes a few tears at the door, but usually, things settle down once the toys come out. We spend a lot of time just cleaning up spills and helping kids find their water bottles. The rooms are bright, but they show the wear and tear of having dozens of kids running through them every week. Sometimes the neighbors hear the singing from the music sessions. It is a bit chaotic, but it is an honest kind of chaos. We just try to keep everyone safe and busy until their parents come back in the evening. It’s a simple setup here in this corner of the city, nothing too complicated or fancy. We just focus on getting through the day with a smile.
