We are tucked away in Teacher Colony, right on Nehru Road. This Kidzee branch in Baraut is a pretty lively spot, mostly because it’s full of toddlers and little kids who don’t really like sitting still. The walls are covered in drawings that don’t quite look like what they are supposed to be, but that’s just how it is with three-year-olds. We spend a lot of our time making sure nobody falls over or loses a shoe. The rooms are bright, though some of the toys have seen better days. You can hear songs and rhymes coming from the windows if you walk past on the street. It’s a lot of work looking after small children, and it gets pretty loud during playtime. We don’t have a big fancy office; usually, the staff is just sitting on the smaller chairs talking about the day's lesson plan. The parents around here in Baraut are quite involved, so there’s a lot of chatting at the gate during pickup and drop-off times. It’s a practical little place. We focus on getting the kids used to being away from home for a few hours. There’s always some spilled juice or a crayon that’s gone missing, but we keep things clean and safe. It feels more like a big family house than a formal school sometimes. We just do our best to keep the kids happy and learning while they are with us.
