Zilla Parishad Ucch Prathmik School

We are located at 20-D Liddle Road in the George Town area of Allahabad. It is an upper primary school, so we have the younger kids and some of the middle schoolers too. George Town is usually a quieter area, but our school is just a plain, normal building. We have the usual classrooms and a small space for the kids to play during their lunch break. It gets pretty loud during those times with all the shouting and running around. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working here for many years. We know most of the families who send their children to us. The rooms could use some fixing up, maybe some new windows or floor work, but we make do with what we have. We focus on the basic subjects and making sure the kids attend their classes regularly. It is a lot of daily chores, like checking the attendance registers and cleaning off the chalkboards. We do not have any air conditioning, so the ceiling fans are always running in the hot summer months. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit by the open windows to get some light. It is a very local atmosphere. Most parents just drop by if they need to talk to us about something. We do not have a website. Just the physical school here on Liddle Road where we have been for a long time.
