We are located out in Village-Ulda, which is part of the Meja area. The shop is quite close to the river, so you can sometimes feel a bit of a breeze coming off the water during the evening. It is a quiet location compared to the bigger towns. We handle a mix of things that the local people need for their daily lives or their farms. Our building is near the Post Office in Madar, so it is easy enough for people to find us. Inside, it is mostly open space with bags and boxes sitting on wooden pallets. We don't have much in the way of decoration on the walls. It is a family-run business, and usually, there are two or three of us around to help out. The road leading to the village is a bit bumpy, especially after it rains, so we have to be careful with the deliveries. We see the same neighbors every day and know most of them by name. There is no computer system here; we just write everything down in big registers. Sometimes we sit on the bench outside and talk to the regulars while things are slow. It is a basic way of living and working, but we have been doing it this way for a long time and it suits us just fine.
